Cash turnover situation in the Kyrgyz Republic in the 4 quarter of 2023 

Total amount of active money аs of January 1, 2024 constituted 207 251.0 million soms; 12 805.7 million soms out of the sum belonged to cash departments of commercial banks 194 445.4 million soms the rest belonged to the extra-bank system (in comparison with the corresponding period of the past year this sum increased by 0.02 percent which is equal to 36.3 million soms). 

In the 4 quarter of 2023, 1 310 222.4 million soms entered the cash departments of commercial banks. In comparison with the 4 quarter of 2022, this sum increased by 6.5 percent which is equal to 79 566.6 million soms. 

Change of cash inflows into the cash departments of commercial banks’ institutions is presented in the chart No.1:

In the 4 quarter of 2023, 1 313 855.6 million soms were paid from the cash departments of commercial banks. In comparison with the 4 quarter of 2022, this sum increased by 5.8 percent which is equal to 72 381.5 million soms.

For the 4 quarter of 2023 cash repayment to the cash departments of commercial banks amounted to 99.7 percent. 

(in comparison with the corresponding period of 2022, this index increased by 0.6 percentage points).
