The 1000-Som banknote of 2010 year is made on white paper of 150x71 mm. The main color of the banknote is grey. The colorless fibers which have red and blue luminescence in UV-light are embedded in the paper. The paper has the local watermark repeating the portrait at the front of the banknote and the electrotyped watermark representing the denomination in figures. The windowed metallic security thread with the microtext 1000 is embedded in the paper. The white coupon fields are located along the edges of the banknote.  

The portrait, the inscriptions ۔, Ң C̔, 1000, the signature of the Chairman of the NBKR at the front side of the banknote are made with raised printing. 

 

At the top of the front side of the banknote: there are the figures denomination 1000 with microimages of camel, the signature of the Chairman of NBKR, the inscription ۔, the serial number of the banknote printing in red ink.  

There are the portrait of Jusup Balasagyn, the outstanding poet and the philosopher of the Middle Ages, and the inscription " (11.)" on the left side of the banknote. The portrait is made with many times repeating inscription (name and surname of person) in microletters visible with magnifying glass. There is a repeating inscription ۔ visible with magnifying glass in the lines on the right side of the portrait. 

The holographic stripe is situated on the left side from the portrait. It contains colour portrait of J. Balasagyn, figures denomination (1000). If the banknote is tilted image of J. Balasagyn will change to Blessed knowledge, the name of his work literature.  

There is the inscription Ң ̔ under the portrait. There is the serial number printed in black ink on the white coupon field on the left side of the portrait. 

There is a relief image of the formalized image of sun stood out against a background in form of grey circle on the right side of the security thread. 

There is the see-through register formed the name of currency - "" on the white coupon field of the watermark. 

There is a grey rectangle containing the relief image of the national ornament at the lower right part. The figures 1000 appears in rectangle covered with ornament while the banknote is tilted. The denomination figures 1000 are situated at the lower right corner.  

 

At the top of the back side of the banknote: there is the image of Takhti Sulaiman, the monument of ancient architecture, is situated at the background of the beautiful peaks of Kyrgyzstan. The inscription ۔ and the denomination figures 1000 are situated at the top of the banknotes.  

There is the iridescent stripe represents as repeating figures 1000 and the inscription ۔ in the centre of the banknote. There are the denomination figures 1000, the inscription Ң ̔ and the year of issue 2010 at the bottom of the banknote. 

 

The 1000-som banknote of 2000 year is made on white paper of 16578 mm in size. The main color of the banknote is grey-green. The red, blue and green fibers as well as the colorless fibers luminescent in UV-light are embedded in the paper. The paper has the local watermark repeating the portrait at the front of the banknote and the electrotyped watermark representing the denomination in figures. The window metallic security thread with the microtext "1000 " is embedded in the paper. The strip code is located at the left and the right side of the banknote. 

The portrait, the inscriptions " ", "Ң C","1000", the signature of the Chairman of the NBKR at the front side of the banknote are made with raised printing. 

 

At the top of the front side of the banknote: there are the inscription " ", the signature of the Chairman of the NBKR (Ҹ), five slanting strokes for the people with the weak eyesight, the figure denomination "1000" with a repeating number "1000" visible with magnifying glass, the serial number of the banknote printing in red pink.  

There is the portrait of Jusup Balasagyn, the outstanding poet and the philosopher of the Middle Ages, the inscription "JUSUP BALASAGYN (11.)", name and surname of person. 

There is the hologram formed the national ornament on the left side of the banknote. It contains the figure denomination "1000", the logotype of the National bank of the Kyrgyz Republic. There is the see-through register formed the ornament under the hologram. 

There are the special marks with the raised relief for the people with the weak eyesight are located on the white coupon field. The figure denomination "1000" with a repeating number "1000" visible with magnifying glass is situated at the lower left corner.  

There is the inscription "Ң " with the line " " visible with magnifying glass.  

There is the vertical serial number printed in black ink on the right side of the portrait. 

There is a grey rectangle containing the relief image of the national ornament at the lower right corner. The figures "1000" appears in rectangle covered with ornament while the banknote is tilted. The figure denomination "1000" with a repeating number "1000" visible with magnifying glass is situated at the upper right corner.  

 

At the top of the back side of the banknote: there is the monument of ancient architecture - Takhti Sulaiman - is situated at the background of Sulaiman Mountain.  

This issue of the banknotes is devoted to the 3000 anniversary of the most ancient city of Kyrgyzstan - Osh city. There is the inscription " Ң " on the left side of the banknote.  

The inscription " " and the denomination figures "1000" with a repeating number "1000" visible with magnifying glass are situated at the upper right corner of the banknote.  

There are the iridescent stripe represents as repeating figures "1000" and the inscription "Ң " on the vertical ornamental stripe on the left side of the banknote.  

There are the denomination figures "1000" and the year of issue "2000" at the bottom of the banknote.
