In the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic there was told about the national currency, cash circulation and anti-counterfeiting to the students of the Kyrgyz National University by the name of Jusup Balasagyn 

On June 11 the students of the 4th and 5th courses of the Institute of Economy and Finance of the Kyrgyz National University by the name of J. Balasagyn, of “Monetary relations and banks” department have visited the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.  

The students visited numismatic exhibition in the museum of the National Bank. During the excursion guests learned about the first payment instruments in the history of humanity, as well as modern money, familiarized with the exhibits - monetary signs issued at different times in different countries, including modern banknotes and coins of Kyrgyzstan, which immortalized the history of the Kyrgyz people, nature and wildlife of the country.  

Specialists of the Expertise Division of the Cash Management Department of the National Bank told to the future economists about the stages development of the national currency, the regulation of cash circulation in the country, about the production of Kyrgyz banknotes and coins, as well as how to exchange dilapidated and damaged money.  

Protective elements of banknotes were visually demonstrated to the students that in future they could easily distinguish counterfeit banknotes from genuine and not fall a victim of counterfeiters. 

Students were satisfied with the excursion and noted that they had learned a lot of useful things for themselves.
