The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic informs about the extension of the republican contest among schoolchildren to be conducted within the framework of the campaign on improving of the financial literacy of the population to 25 April 2015.  

  

The contest is open for 6-16 years old children, who can take part in the following categories.  

1. The best essay to the subject:  

- "What is a bank? What is it needed for?"  

- "Currency of the future"  

- "Where should money be deposited?"  

- "If I were a banker …" 

- "How competently should be handled the money?"  

- "How much money is needed for happiness?"  

- "Future of the national currency"  

2. The best poem to the subject: "Devoted to the national currency of the Kyrgyzstan …"  

3. The best picture to the subject: "Som is the face of Kyrgyzstan"  

The goal of the contest is to improve the financial literacy of younger generation and broad information about solicitous attitude to the national currency as to a symbol of the state.  

Poems and essays shall be accepted in Kyrgyz and Russian languages and should be presented in a white sheet of A-4 format paper, font Times New Roman 12. Pictures might be done in any technique (watercolor, gouache paint, graphics etc.). One and the same author may provide contest work in any quantity and scope.  

The prize fund of the contest consists of valuable gifts in terms of collection coins of the National Bank and other recognition gifts.  

Works to be submitted to contest must be submitted to the Department of Public Relations and Protocol of the NBKR at the following address: 104 T. Umetaliev Street, Bishkek city, Kyrgyz Republic, 720040 with "Childrens contest" note, where full name, date of birth and contact data of a child should be specified without fail.
