Collection coins, devoted to the Chinqiz Aitmatov's works
The collection coins "Ch. Aitmatov", "Jamila", "Duishen", "Mother field", "Farewell, Gulsary!" and "The white ship" are dedicated to the works of the world-famous Kyrgyz writer, Chingiz Aitmatov, who is one of the most readable modern writers in the world. His works are translated into more than 170 languages and issued in more than 100 countries of the world with the circulation of more than 60 million copies. His works have become an indispensable part of the process of education and building of the society. They are a part of the school and university programs in many world countries.
The coins were issued in circulation on May 4, 2009. The coins are legal tender in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic. The coins are issued in a separate box and in a set consists of six coins. A certificate and a booklet with description of the coin are attached to each coin.
