“Recognition for innovative and comprehensive approach
of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic to the issue of banknotes”
The issue of banknotes of the fifth series of the national currency of the Kyrgyz Republic of the year 2023 was awarded a special prize in the category “Recognition for innovative and comprehensive approach of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic to the issue of banknotes” at the international conference “Mint & Print Conference” in Dubai, UAE.
The special prize was awarded to the National Bank by an independent international expert council for the unique implementation of the project on preparation and putting new banknotes into circulation, which contributed to improvement of the banknotes appearance and their security features, as well as for the significant input to development of the cash circulation sector.
