Collection coin “Saimaluu-Tash” - III place in the nomination
“Silver coin of the year”
In 2014, the silver collection coin “Saimaluu-Tash” of the series “Historical and architectural monuments of Kyrgyzstan” took the third place in the nomination “Silver coin of the year” in the international competition “Coin Constellation – 2014” held by the Publishing House “Water Mark” (Russia).
The main plot of the coin is the images of a sun man, a mountain goat and a bull carrying a solar disc represented in the form of cave paintings. The peculiar feature of this coin is the drawings depicted in colors, which most realistically shows the images on the surface of the stone boulder of blue-black color.
