Collection coin “Household item: tai-tuyak” - III place in the nomination “Silver coin of the year”
Collection coin “Household item: tai-tuyak” of the series “Historical events” took the third place in the XVIII International Coin Contest “Coin Constellation – 2024” in the nomination “Silver coin of the year”.
Collection coin “Household item: tai-tuyak” with the weight of 500 g and a diameter of 90 mm was put into circulation in honor of the 30th anniversary of the introduction of national currency and is dedicated to the ancient history of money.
The main plot of the front side of the coin is the image of tai-tuyak (“horse hoof”) – a silver bar, which was used in the XIX century in the sphere of money circulation, being widely spread in the territory of Kyrgyzstan in large settlements and border trade with China.
