The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic Discussed Issues Related to the Development of the State Language and the Strengthening of National Values 

 

On April 28, 2026, the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic held an event dedicated to the role of the state language, the promotion of national values, and increasing the accessibility of banking services, as part of the “National Spirit Global Heights” doctrine. 

During the event, the information on the work being carried out by the National Bank to develop the state language, as well as to expand financial accessibility, introduce digital payment instruments, improve the financial literacy of the population, and strengthen environmental responsibility was presented. 

As noted, work is underway in the regions to expand the network of ATMs, QR payments, and POS terminals, which contributes to increased accessibility of modern banking services for the population. Particular attention is paid to the use of the state language in contracts signed with clients, as well as to the conduct of business at the National Bank in the state and official languages. 

Melis Murataliev, the Chairman of the National Commission on State Language and Language Policy under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, participated in the event as a guest of honor and lecturer. He presented a report on the historical development of the state language, its role in society, and its significance today. 

Mels Attokurov, the Deputy Chairman of the National Bank, noted that preserving the state language and national culture is an important foundation for the countrys development, social unity, and professional achievement. 

The event aimed to strengthen the role of the state language in the professional sphere, promote national values, and develop a culture of active use of the state language among the financial regulators employees.
