ь The NBKR Board regular meeting was arranged on November 26, 2008. In the course of this meeting the following questions were regarded and corresponding resolutions were accepted:  

– report on monetary policy for the third quarter of 2008 and monetary-credit program for the following period (No.42/1). Report will be provided on the web-site of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic; 

– on new version of the Provision “On required reserves” (No.42/3). Changes relate to switchover of commercial banks from January 1, 2008 to independent account card, also new terms have been introduced into the Provision in accordance with the Law “On the national Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic”; 

– on approval of the Provision “On the procedure of disposal, additional disposal, repurchase repeated tender and performance of financial estimates with government treasury bonds through the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic” (No.42/4); 

– on tendencies of the Kyrgyz Republic commercial banks system development as of September 30, 2008 (No.42/6). 

 

The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic informs that the draft of changes in the Provision “On minimum requirements for the country risk management in commercial banks and other financial-credit institutions, licensed by the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic” is provided on the official site of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic in the section “Normative acts/Drafts for discussion” for public consideration. The Department of supervision and licensing methodology is ready to accept comments and propositions on these drafts at the following email address: smaitshova@nbkr.kg up to December 5, 2008.
