ь From May 23 to May 26, 2009, the delegation of the Swiss National Bank, headed by the President of the Swiss National Bank, Mr. Jean Pierre Roth visited the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.  

In the course of official meeting with the Chairman of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic the questions regarding cooperation between two banks and perspectives for their further development as well as realization of acting projects within the framework of technical cooperation were regarded. In the course of the official visit, the meetings with I.V.Chudinov, the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, M.A.Sultanov, the Minister of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic, members of the NBKR Board and linear managers of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, were arranged.  

 

ь The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic informs commercial banks that on the official site of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, in the section “Normative acts/Projects for discussion”, there presented the project of changes and additions to certain normative and legal acts of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.

ь As of May 22, 2009, the shareholders of CJSC “Interbank processing center” include 16 commercial banks and OJSC “Kyrgyztelecom”. 16 commercial banks are connected to the Single Interbank Processing Center. 51 357 Elcart cards were issued, 430 terminals and 127 automated teller machines are functioning. 352 terminals are installed in branches and savings departments of commercial banks in Bishkek and regional centers, 78 terminals in trade-service enterprises. 

The list of cash issuance centers, automated teller machines and trade-service enterprises, service the national cards Elcard is provided on the site of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic (www.nbkr.kg) in the section “Payment system/Single Interbank Processing Center”.
