ь On September 15, 2010, the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic in the course of the meeting accepted the resolution of the NBKR Board No.73/3 “On approval of the list of obligations for calculation of obligatory reserves”. This resolution comes into effect from November 1, 2010.  

 

 

ь On September 14, 2010, there was the meeting of Abdybaly tegin Suerkul, Vice Chairman of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, with delegation of the Swiss Bureau on Cooperation in the Kyrgyz Republic (hereinafter referred to as SECO), headed by Mr.Sax, Vice Director of the State Secretariat on Economic Affairs of SECO. In the course of the meeting, the issues, related to cooperation between the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic and this organization, were discussed, in particular the issue on implementation of current and potentially possible projects. Mr. Abdybaly tegin Suerkul noted that at present the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic is involved in implementation of such projects as the project on intensification of the structure for counterstand against terrorism financing and legalization of incomes, received by illegal ways, the project on development of the securities market. Also, cooperation with SECO is established within the framework of the project on investigation of border trade and re-export of goods, which are not covered by official statistics.  

Moreover, in the course of the meeting, the issues on cooperation between the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Swiss National Bank, was discussed. This cooperation has been developing for more than 10 years. The Swiss National Bank provides huge support and assistance to the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic in the sphere of trainings and seminars arrangement as well as in the sphere of consulting services provision with regard to major trends of activity of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.  

At the end of the meeting, the parties thanked each other for the possibility to exchange opinions and expressed hope for further efficient cooperation in future.  

 

 

ь National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic informs that on September 13, 2010, the Bishkek municipal court delayed consideration of the appeal case of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic against decision of the inter-rayon court of Bishkek city, dated August 27, 2010 on application of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic on recognition of the OJSC “AsiaUniversalBank” as bankrupt. Consideration of this case will be arranged on September 23, 2010 (4 P.M.). 

 

 

ь National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic informs micro-financing companies that the draft resolution of the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic on introduction of changes and amendments to the resolution of the NBKR Board No.4/2, dated February 19, 2003 “On Provisional Rules for Regulation of Activity of Micro-Financing Organizations on the Territory of the Kyrgyz Republic”, registered in the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic on March 25, 2003, registration number 29-03, is provided in the official web-site of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic in the section Normative Acts/Projects for Discussion.
