ь The NBKR 25th Board Regular Meeting of the Heads of Central (National) Banks Participants of the Eurasian Economic Community (EEC) was arranged on September 20, 2011 in Bishkek headed by the Chairman of NBKR Asankozhoeva Z.M. The meeting brought together leaders and representatives of the central (national) banks of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Interstate Bank, Secretariat of the Integration Committee of EurAsEC and the Commission of Permanent Representatives under EurAsEC. .
In accordance with the agenda of the meeting there has been presented information as follow-up to a previous meeting, discussed and adopted decisions on several issues, including:
· The issue of cooperation in the development of the banking sector and banking supervision in the EurAsEC member states.
· The results of state of the analysis and level of foreign exchange markets of the EurAsEC member states.
· Information on the implementation of the Agreement on cooperation in organizing an integrated currency market of EurAsEC member states and the implementation of the Action Plan (national) banks of EurAsEC member states on the implementation phase of the Concept of cooperation among member states of the Eurasian Economic Community in the monetary sphere for 2011 - 2012.
· Information about the exchange of experience in the retail payment systems of regular and large payments.
· Report of the Coordinating Council for Vocational Training of the personnel of central (national) banks of EurAsEC member states on the implementation of annual program of professional education and Vocational Training Program of central (national banks) of EurAsEC member states for 2012.
· The question of creating conditions for increased use of national currencies in foreign payments and settlements, including payment system of Interstate Bank
· The Draft Agreement on harmonization of principles and mechanisms of conducting monetary and exchange rate policy by the EurAsEC member states
· The issue of exchange of experience among (national) banks of EurAsEC member states on combating legalization (laundering) of proceeds from crime and terrorist financing.
In conclusion, the protocol was signed and the right of presidency in the next 26th meeting of the Council had been passed to the Chairman of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
Reference: The Council of heads of central (national) banks of the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC) is an advisory body to the right of decision-making advisory nature on matters within the competence of the central banks. The aim of the Council is to ensure effective interaction among the members of the Council - National Bank of Belarus, National Bank of Kazakhstan, the NBKR, the Central Bank of Russian Federation, the National Bank of Tajikistan - on matters of national monetary financial and banking systems, development of multilateral and bilateral payment and settlement relations and other issues of implementation of the Agreement within the purview of the central (national) banks of the Agreement.
ь The Chairman of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic Asankozhoeva Z.M took part in the Annual Meeting of World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund on the delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic as IMF Manager, which was held on September 23-25, 2011 in Washington, D.C., (USA). During the visit, a series of meetings were held where they discussed economic issues that are important for the country.
