On January 18, 2012 at the Board meeting of the NBKR the following issues have been considered and resolutions have been adopted:
· “On Amendments to the NBKR Board Resolution No.12/6 dated March 11, 2009 ”On the minimum banks' capital (own funds)”, registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic on April 1, 2009, Registration Number 38-09” (No. 2\1).
· “On some normative and legal acts of the National bank of the Kyrgyz Republic” (No.2\2).
On Cash Turnover Status in the Kyrgyz Republic
for IY quarter 2011
· The total amount of money in circulation as of January 1, 2012 made 49,866.9 million soms, of which 2,541.6 million soms were in the cash departments of commercial banks and others - outside the banking system (increased by 6,576.6 million soms or 15.2 percent as compared with the corresponding period of the previous year).
· The cash departments of commercial banks of the Kyrgyz Republic received 128,240.5 million soms in the IY quarter of 2011, which is 35,489.4 million soms more, or 38.3 percent than in IY quarter of 2010.
· In the IY quarter of 2011 the cash departments of commercial banks dispensed cash in the amount of 129,443.2 million soms, which is 34,938.1 million soms or 37.0 percent more than in the IY quarter of 2010.
· Cash repayment to the cash departments of commercial banks for IY quarter of 2011 amounted to 99.1 percent (an increase made 1.0 percentage points as compared with the index for IY quarter of 2010).
· Changing the repayment of cash in the cash departments of commercial banks by regions for IY quarter 2011 is shown in Table 1.
