Total amount of active money by October 1, 2009, constituted 31 107,5 million soms; 1 621,6 million soms out of the sum belonged to cash departments of commercial banks, the rest belonged to the extra-bank system (in comparison with the corresponding period of the past year this sum increased by 1,6 per cent which is equal to 494,2 million soms). 

In the 3rd quarter of 2009, 62 768,9 million soms entered the cash departments of commercial banks. In comparison with the 3rd quarter of 2008, this sum decreased by 9,8 per cent which is equal to 6 132,5 million soms.  

In the third quarter of 2009, 62 286,1 million soms were paid from the cash departments of commercial banks. In comparison with the third quarter of 2008, this sum decreased by 12,7 per cent which is equal to 7 914,9 million soms.  

In the third quarter of 2009, cash repayment to the cash departments of commercial banks constituted 100,8% (in comparison with the corresponding period of 2008, this index increased by 2,7 percentage points)/

ь National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic informs commercial banks that on the official site of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic in the section Normative acts/Projects for discussion there has been posted the draft of changes and amendments into the resolution of the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic No.28/4 dated May 30, 2007 “On the Provision “On consolidated supervision”, registered in the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic on June 22, 2007, registration number 62-07. The Department of Supervision and Licensing Methodology asks to provide comments and proposals on this project to the following e-mail address gkaparova@nbkr.kg no later than November 4, 2009. 

 

 

ь National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic informs that in the November publication of the journal «Stamp&Coin Mart», issued in England, in the section “Banknote of the month” there will be the article about the banknote of the Kyrgyz Republic of the nominal value of 5000 soms. This article will include the information about the banknote description and its protective elements.  

This banknote is the nominee in the competition “Best banknote of the year”.
