ь On May 26, 2010, regular meeting of the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic was arranged. In the course of the meeting the following issues were considered and relevant resolutions were accepted:
– On report on monetary policy for the 1st quarter of 2010 and monetary-credit program for the forthcoming period (№36/1);
– On development tendencies of commercial banks of the Kyrgyz Republic (№36/2);
– On introduction of changes and amendments to some regulatory legal acts of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic (№36/3), in accordance with which changes into Provisional rules for regulation of activity of the international financial corporation and Provision “On minimum requirements for the credit risk management in commercial banks and other financial-credit institutions, licensed by the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic” were introduced to liberalize regulative requirements for the purpose of expansion of crediting volumes and development of micro-financing organization;
– On introduction of changes and amendments to the Provision on classification of assets and corresponding deductions to the Reserves for coverage of potential losses (№36/4);
– Report on current state of the payment system (№36/5);
– On basic requirements for activity of commercial banks at conclusion of agent agreements for provision of banking retail services (№36/7);
– On performance of direct SWAP transactions (№36/11);
– On introduction of changes and amendments to some regulatory legal acts of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic (№36/15), in accordance with which changes and amendments into the Rule for regulation of activity of credit unions in the Kyrgyz Republic are introduced. For the purpose of development of credit unions and due to numerous requests of associations, representing interests of credit unions, regulative requirements for credit unions were changed.
