ь On June 10, 2011, administration of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic participated in the meeting with the Islamic Development Bank mission. In the course of the visit, the issues, related to further introduction and development of the Islamic Financial Services in the Kyrgyz Republic, were discussed. Also, the issues of cooperation within the framework of the Second Technical Assistance, provided by the Islamic Development Bank, were considered.
ь National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic informs commercial banks that the draft Provision “On requirements for provision of information security in commercial banks of the Kyrgyz Republic” is provided for discussion on the official web-site of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic in the section “Normative acts/Projects for discussion”. The Security and Information Security Department asks to provide comments and proposals on this draft document to the following e-mail addresses: apanfilova@nbkr.kg,, tkydyrbaev@nbkr.kg.
ь As for the information, provided on the site of Aki-press “Mobile banking in Kyrgyzstan”, the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic informs that due to technical reasons there was made a mistake in the information on the web-site www.nbkr.kg with regard to rates of commercial banks on the mobile banking services. Factually, as of April 1, 2011, commercial banks did not provide such type of services. The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic also informs that the draft law of the Kyrgyz Republic “On payment system of the Kyrgyz Republic” is at the stage of coordination.
