The head of the National Bank gave an interview to the magazine "The Economist" 

The Chairman of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Tolkunbek Abdygulov gave an interview to the weekly news magazine "The Economist" (the United Kingdom). 

In the course of the talk, the head of the National Bank spoke to the journalist Mr. David Trilling about the objectives and functions of the central bank, the monetary policy pursued by the regulator, the situation in the financial market of the country and its economy as a whole. 

The journalist of "The Economist" also asked Mr. T. Abdygulov to comment on the impact of the Russian currency devaluation on the volume of remittances sent by migrants from Kyrgyzstan working in Russia.
