Meeting of the National Bank Administration and the Mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF)  

The meeting of the National Bank Administration and the International Monetary Fund mission was held on April 25, 2016. The aim of the mission was to conduct the second review of implementation of the economic program within the framework of the agreement on the Extensive Credit Mechanism. Preliminary results of the mission work during its stay in Kyrgyzstan were summed up during the meeting. The parties discussed issues of development of the financial sector of the Republic, trends in the foreign exchange market, and other topical issues of macroeconomic and financial policy. Tolkunbek Abdygulov, the Chairman of the National Bank, noted the importance of bilateral cooperation and the IMF mission work in Kyrgyzstan.
