The National Bank organized a conference 

dedicated to the development of digital financial technologies 

and increasing the availability of digital financial services 

As part of the anniversary events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, on April 15, 2022, a conference was organized in Bishkek on the topic “Development of the financial sector of the Kyrgyz Republic in modern conditions”. 

The representatives of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic, government agencies, heads of commercial banks, non-banking financial and credit organizations, international organizations, academia and expert communities attended the conference. 

In his welcoming speech, Chairman of the National Bank Bokontaev K. noted that one of the priorities of the National Bank is to maintain the operation of the financial and banking systems at a high technological level, develop digital financial technologies and increase the availability of digital financial services for the population of all regions of the republic. 

The conference covered a wide range of issues, including the development of government digital platforms, the digital transformation of the financial market, etc. In addition to the introduction of innovative financial technologies, issues of higher professional education and training for the financial services industry in the future were discussed  

At the end of the conference, the participants emphasized the importance of the issues discussed and confirmed their intention to continue working in the chosen direction.
