On April 15, 2025, within the frames of the events dedicated to the Global Money Week – 2025, the representatives of the Talas Regional Department of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic held a guest lecture for high school students of the secondary school named after A. Usenbaev in Aral village of Manas district, Talas oblast.
During the lecture, the information was presented on the history of the formation of the national currency - the Kyrgyz som, on the need and importance of financial planning and increasing financial literacy of the population, as well as on the development of payments and transfers with the use of QR codes, on precautions against telephone fraud.
