ь Due to information about forecast USD exchange rate against KGS, published by some mass media on January 18, 2011, the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic informs that this information is far from being true. In the Kyrgyz Republic there is the regime of floating exchange rate, which provides formation of the exchange rate on the basis of market mechanisms, i.e. depending on demand and supply of the foreign currency by some moment in the domestic foreign exchange market. Central banks of countries, where there is the floating exchange rate, including the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, do not announce forecasts about exchange rate.  

ь As for cash turnover in the Kyrgyz Republic for the 4th quarter of 2010, it should be noted that the overall sum of money in circulation as of January 1, 2011 constituted 43 290.3 million soms: 1 753.3 million soms were in tcash departments of commercial banks and remaining sum was out of the banking system (according to the corresponding period of the past year, increase constituted 7 551.6 million soms or 21.1 percent). 

In the 4th quarter of 2009, 92 750.9 million soms entered cash departments of commercial banks overall in the republic, which was by 22 945.7 million soms or 32.9 percent more in comparison with the 4th quarter of 2009.  

Cash departments of commercial banks issued 94 505.0 million soms in the 4th quarter of 2010, which was by 20 452.1 million soms or 27.6 percent more in comparison with the 4th quarter of 2009.  

Payback of cash into cash departments of commercial banks in the 4th quarter of 2010 constituted 98.1 percent (in comparison with the corresponding index of 2009, increase constituted 3.8 percentage points).

ь National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic informs that in 2010, 21 competitions were announced: 13 competitions for employment in the central office, 8 competitions for employment in oblast departments, including: 

– replacement of vacant positions – 11 competitions; 

– for probation period – 7 competitions; 

– for work in accordance with fixed-term labor contract – 3 competitions. 

362 persons participated in the announced competitions. As per results of these competitions, 51 employees were hired by the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic. 

Within the framework of cooperation with higher educational institutions of the country, which is aimed at preparation of personnel potential, 48 students of higher educational institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic passed probation period in the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.
