ь National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic informs that from January 31, 2011, the Committee of Monetary Regulation of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic decided to maintain base rate for crediting purposes of the LLC “Specialized Fund for Banks Refinancing” at the level of 8.0 percent. Decision came into effect from February 1, 2011. 

ь National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic informs that starting from February 7, 2011, new acrylic block with the banknote of 200 soms of the 4th series will be sold all over the republic at the price of 900 soms. Also acrylic blocks with the banknotes of 1, 5, 10 soms will be sole at new prices: acrylic blocks with the banknotes of 1, 5, 10 soms will be sold for 500 soms and with the banknote of 20 soms – for 700 soms.  

Acrylic blocks are sold in the Central turnover cash (tel.: 0312 66 91 48) and oblast departments of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.  

ь Commemorative coin with the nominal value of 2000 tenge, devoted to the 7th Asian Games in Kazakhstan in 2011, was introduced into circulation from January 17, 2011, on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
