ь On July 5, 2011, the meeting of Asankojoeva Zina Mukaevna, Chairman of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic was arranged with the delegation of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, headed by the Director in the Central Asia, Mr. Masaru Honma. The meeting discussed the current cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. In particular, the following trends and achievements of the EBRD activities in Kyrgyzstan were noted: 

· Annually takes part in 50 projects, most of which are aimed at support of the financial sector of the country (MFC, small and medium enterprises); 

· Participates in the share capital of individual banks (CJSC "Kyrgyz Investment and Credit Bank", CJSC "Demir Kyrgyz International Bank"); 

· Presents the program on trade facilitation (credit programs); 

· Improves the existing scheme of crediting in the national currency to facilitate access to credits for local companies; 

· Develops new scheme for crediting of agricultural manufacturers and processing industry through the micro-financing companies and commercial banks (the main production spheres are: corn / cotton / livestock). 

At the end of the meeting the Chairman of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic thanked representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for their support and expressed willingness for further cooperation. 

 

ь On July 7-8, 2011, in Bishkek, the Central Asian microfinance summit was arranged with participation of Roza Otunbayeva, President of the Kyrgyz Republic. The organizers of the Summit were the Presidential Office of the Kyrgyz Republic, the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Czech Company «Uniglobal»*. The summit became a platform for professional discussion of issues in the microfinance sector by investors, donors, leading experts of the public and representatives of the civil and microfinance sectors of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Russian Federation, the United States and Europe. In addition, prospects of development of the microfinance sector in the Central Asia and in the Kyrgyz Republic in particular were discussed. 

Summit participants familiarized themselves with the technological innovations and new products and services in the microfinance sector. 

Representatives of international financial institutions and donor organizations were able to find information about development of microfinance in the Kyrgyz Republic, directly from the microfinance sector organizations. Also, there was a dialogue with the Summit participants about investments in the microfinance sector of the Kyrgyz Republic. 

The Summit made contribution into development of the microfinance in the Kyrgyz Republic. The Summit participants developed proposals for inclusion into the Draft Strategy of Microfinance Development for the period of 2011 - 2015. 

As a result of the Summit, participants adopted the resolution, determining the action plan for further development of microfinance in the Kyrgyz Republic.  

 

ь The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic informs that in the II quarter of 2011, 14 contests for vacancies in the central office (11) and regional offices (3) were announced:  

To fill vacant positions 8 contests; 

To act as conservator of a commercial bank 1 contest; 

To work on fixed-term contract 5 contests. 

47 people took part in the contests. 1 person was employed by the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic to act as conservator of a commercial bank; 6 employees were promoted from one structural subdivision to other structural subdivisions.  

Within the framework of cooperation with higher educational institutions of the country, which is aimed at preparation of personnel potential, in the first half of 2011, 6 students of higher educational institutions of the country passed practical training in structural subdivisions of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.

2. PE Nesterova Natalya Vladimirovna (License No. 4724, dated July 8, 2011 for conducting cash foreign exchange transactions). Registration numbers of the exchange offices: №2795, №2796. Legal addresses: cafй “Eurasia”, Alma-Atinskaya Street, Leninskoe village, Chui oblast and 713, Alma-Atinskaya Street, Leninskoe village, Chui oblast correspondingly; 

3. LLC MCC “Mechta” (Certificate on accounting registration No. 382, dated July 8, 2011 for micro-crediting of physical and legal entities). Legal address: 32, Tynchtyk Street, Kolmo town, Bishkek; 

 

The License of the PE Kulkobonova Aida Muktarbekovna (license No.4605 dated April 11, 2011 for conducting cash foreign exchange transactions) has been cancelled for breach of sub-clauses 4, 7, 16, 21, 26, 27 of the clause 2.5 of the Provision “On conducting cash foreign exchange transactions in the Kyrgyz Republic”. Legal address: 49, Kievskaya Street, Bishkek city.
