ь The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic informs that the Russian Federation put into circulation new banknotes in denomination of 500 and 5000 rubles of 1997 issue modified in 2010. 

Description of the banknotes in denomination of 5000 rubles 

The modified banknote has the format and a plot design similar to the Bank of Russia banknote of 1997 pattern. The color and styling of the front and back sides of the bills are partially changed. 

On the face side of the modified notes at the bottom of the left coupon field on the left of the main image the text “MODIFICATION OF 2010” is placed.  

The main security features 

relief images on the face of a banknote in a portrait field, inscriptions, denomination and thin strokes along the edges of coupon fields of a banknote. 

watermark - multi-tone image of a portrait N.N Muravyov-Amursky and bright image of digital denomination “5000”. 

– on the observe side of a banknote on the coat of arms of Khabarovsk there is a bright brilliant band, visible at right angle in the middle of the emblem, if the banknote is tilted, the band will move from the centre of the image up or down. 

security thread – at the front of the banknote security thread comes to the surface of paper in the box of figural forms. If the banknote is tilted, “5000” figures move towards each other. In transmitted light, the thread looks solid. 

multicolored moire effect (MVC+) – on the observe side of the banknote, to the left of the portrait, on a plain field when the banknote is tilted, red and green stripes appear that look like a continuation of colored bands observed continuously in the dark area of the lower part of the field. 

microimages and micro text - to the right of the portrait of N.N Muravyov-Amursky there is a far bank of the Amur river image which has some minor graphic elements. The top and bottom of the decorative ribbon have the lines performed with microtext.
