On the status of the cash-monetary circulation in the Kyrgyz Republic for 

II quarter 2013  

Total amount of money in circulation as of July 1, 2013 constituted KGS 61 119.6 mln., of which KGS 3 345.4 mln. is in commercial banks and the rest is in non-bank system (as compared to the corresponding period of the last year has increased by KGS 9 740.0 mln. or by 19.0 percent).  

In the 2nd quarter 2013, the cash departments in commercial banks in the whole country received KGS 187 069.1 mln., which is higher by KGS 35 275.1 mln., or by 23.2 percent, as compared with the II quarter 2012.  

KGS 193 793.1 mln. has been disbursed from the cash departments of commercial banks in the II quarter 2013,which is higher by KGS 35 316.9 mln., or 22.3 percent, as compared with the II quarter 2012.  

Repayment of cash in the cash departments of commercial banks for the II quarter of 2013 was 96.5 percent (compared with the index of the II quarter of 2012, an increase constituted 0.7 percentage points).

ь Information Report 

A new banknote of UZS 5000 nominal value has been introduced in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan from July 1, 2013. This denomination adds the banknote series and is considered as the largest denomination. 

Description of the banknote with a nominal value of 5000 sum of 2013 sample  

The prevailing color of the banknote is green– blue. The size of the banknote is 144 mm х 78 mm. 

The main image in the front side of the banknote is the state symbol-emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the background of ornamental elements. 

The backside of the banknote depicts the architectural building “OLIY MAJLIS”, with a flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan depicted on the dome of the building. 

Main security features of the banknote  

Intaglio printing – there is a depiction of an emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan, inscription, nominal value and ornaments on the front side of the banknote. 

Watermarks – the white field of the banknote has the multi-tone depiction of an emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan and light depiction of the denomination mark “5000”. 

Security threads of diving type with holographic effect and printing “UZB”, thread looks as entire in the light. 

OVI element – the white field of the banknote has an ornamental imprint, which when changing the angle of the banknote changes its color from golden to green. 

iridescent image – the backside of the banknote has two figures “5000” with different font height, with golden glittering. 

Continuous register– combining imprints in the form of an ornament on the front and back sides of the banknote create a single composition in the light. 

UV glowing – there are two-color protecting threads of blue and green color, there are imprints in the center of the banknote in the form of ornaments and nominal glittering in green color, and black serial number under the emblem of the Republic of Uzbekistan glittering in green.

The registration license of the LLC “MCC “Issyk-Kul CommertcGroup” Unde No. 46 as of March 14, 2006 for micro-crediting of physical and legal entities was cancelled from July 23, 2013. Self-liquidation. Legal address: Issyk-Kul province, Karakol town, Aldashev Street, 35. 

The registration license of the LLC “MCC “NewTech” under No. 444 as of April 3, 2012 for micro-crediting of physical and legal entities was cancelled from July 26, 2013. Self-liquidation. Legal address: Naryn province, Naryn town, Shuller Street, Trade complex “Kadyr-Ata”, 2nd floor, M.Taranchy, Bld., 16. 

The registration license of the LLC “MCC “Aman-Esen” under No. 312 as of September 14, 2010 for micro-crediting of physical and legal entities was withdrawn from July 26, 2013. Resolution No. 5 as of July 26, 2013 for systematic non-submission of Periodic Progress Report: Naryn province.
