The library of the National Bank will become available to external users 

The management of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, in view of the numerous appeals from the representatives of educational institutions and scientific institutes regarding access to the book collection of the National Bank, has decided to give the public status to the library of the National Bank. 

The library will begin its work from February 10, 2015. The library access will be granted to researchers and students of universities, secondary specialized schools and colleges (with a student card or academic report book) twice a week - on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8.30 am - 12.00 pm and 13.00 pm - 17.30 pm respectively. 

The members will have free access to the unique book collection, including rare, specialized publications on topics of economics, finance, banking, accounting, information and computer technology and law. All publications of the National Bank issued from 1995 to the present time will also be available. 

Books from the library will not be available for take-out. The use of publications will only be allowed in the reading hall of the National Bank. 

Note: The library of the National Bank was established in August 1995. 

The book collection is replenished with the new editions every year and currently comprises about 5 thousand copies.

The National Bank employees have learnt the basics of public speaking in mass media 

The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic held trainings aimed at developing the public speaking skills in mass media of bank employees. The trainings "Art of Communication with the Media" were attended by the management and the officials of the key departments of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic. The media consultant in the framework of the trainings was the Russian journalist, an advisor to INA "Russia Today" Oleg Dmitriev. 

Participants learned about the specifics of dialogue communication on the radio and television and peculiarities of the viewer's perception of different types of media. The media consultant also talked about the peculiarities of the speakers’ behavior in front of the video and web cameras, including - during the live broadcast, about the style of clothing for a television interview, etc.  

A particular attention during the training was given to the types of television interviews, method of conveying complex information on the issues of economics and finance to the different target audiences. 

The Bank employees were given the opportunity to use the theoretical knowledge in the process of interaction with the film crew. Each participant was interviewed on the camera. The National Bank specialists also tried on the role of journalists. By the end of the practical session a discussion was held with regard to each video presentation; recommendations were given by the media consultant. 

The training participants underlined the importance and necessity of such training events as to raise the level of theoretical knowledge and the use of practical skills in the professional activity. 

The management of the National Bank and about 30 specialists representing the key management departments undertook the training. 

Licenses/certificates were issued to the following non-financial credit institutions and exchange offices: 

1. "Alfa-Express" LLC (license No. 5206 dated February 5, 2015 for carrying out foreign exchange operations in cash). Legal address: 119/3 Shopokov Street, Bishkek city ("Elita" shop); 

2. "Jetigen i Ko" LLC (license No. 5207 dated February 6, 2015 for carrying out foreign exchange operations in cash). Legal address: 150 Abdrahmanov Street, unit 29/1, Bishkek city. 

Certificates/licenses of the following non-financial credit institutions and exchange offices were annulled/revoked: 

1. Certificate of accounting registration of MCA "Chin & Kun" LLC No. 164 dated October 16, 2008 for carrying out micro-crediting of physical and legal persons is annulled. Legal address: microdistrict Alamedin, 64-23, Bishkek city; 

2. Certificate of accounting registration of MCA "Irbit" LLC No. 286 dated April 6, 2010 for carrying out micro-crediting of physical and legal persons is annulled. Legal address: microdistrict no. 8, 32/1-43, Bishkek city.  

3. License of the financial cooperative CU Shambal-Ata No.280 dated July 27, 2001 is annulled. Legal address: 78 Kyrgyzstan Street, Osh city, Osh oblast. 

4. License of the financial cooperative "CU Aykyz" No. 503 dated December 27, 2005 is annulled. Legal address: 236 Kurmanjan Datka Street, Osh city, Osh oblast. 

5. License No. 4841 dated February 6, 2012 given to Mr. Bannikov Petr Anatolievich for carrying out foreign exchange operations in cash is annulled. Legal address: 119/3 Shopokov Street, Bishkek city ("Elita" shop) 

Information on remittances 

- In accordance with the Remittances Rules in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic (amendments in accordance with the Decree of the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic No.34/10 dated July 31, 2014), in January 29, 2015, an operator of the local remittance system "Asia Express" - "Bank of Asia" CJSC was registered under registration number 1031290115 in the registry of operators that provide remittances services in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic. 

- In accordance with the Remittances Rules in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic (amendments in accordance with the Decree of the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic No.34/10 dated July 31, 2014), in January 27, 2015, an operator of the local remittance system "Transit" - "BTA Bank" CJSC was registered under registration number 1027270115 in the registry of operators that provide remittances services in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.
