On April 18, 2023, an excursion was organized and lectures on the topics: “Goals, objectives and functions of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic”, “Stages of the national currency development” and “Numismatic values of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic” were delivered for the pupils of 10-11 grades of the Lyceum of Foreign Languages in Talas city in the building of the Talas regional department of the National Bank within the framework of the events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of introduction of the national currency - Som.  

The students listened to a lecture on the purposes, objectives and functions of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, the history of the national currency - the Kyrgyz Som, and the numismatic values of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.
