The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic Announces a Competition among the Media for the Best Coverage of the Topic
“Kyrgyz Som - the Face of Kyrgyzstan”
The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic announces a republican competition among journalists for the best coverage of the topic “Kyrgyz Som - the Face of Kyrgyzstan” as part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary since the adoption of the national currency of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Creative works of journalists of print and electronic media of the Kyrgyz Republic, including TV and radio, published in the capital and regional media, may participate in the competition.
The number of materials from one author and volume of contest works are not limited.
Works, submitted for the competition, should be published or broadcast from March 1 to October 1, 2023 inclusively.
The competition shall be held in the following categories:
- The best TV material in the state language;
- The best TV material in the official language;
- The best radio material in the state language;
- The best radio material in the official language;
- The best material in the print media in the state language;
- The best material in the print media in the official language;
- The best material in web-based media in the state language;
- The best material in web-based media in the official language;
- The best material in the regional media;
Main criteria for the evaluation of entries:
- Material’s compliance with the theme, nomination and terms of the competition;
- Objectivity of presentation;
- Reliability of the data used; accessible presentation;
- Completeness of the theme;
- Diversity of formats and visualization (multimedia).
In order to participate in the competition, applicants shall fill in an online application form.
The results of the competition will be announced in November 2023, on the eve of the Information and Press Day of the Kyrgyz Republic at the ceremony of awarding the winners.
