Cash turnover situation in the Kyrgyz Republic in the 1 quarter of 2024 

Total amount of active money аs of April 1, 2024 constituted 201 848.6 million soms; 8 653.7 million soms out of the sum belonged to cash departments of commercial banks 193 194.9 million soms the rest belonged to the extra-bank system (in comparison with the corresponding period of the past year this sum increased by 14.6 percent which is equal to 24 627.5 million soms). 

In the 1 quarter of 2024, 1 185 768.6 million soms entered the cash departments of commercial banks. In comparison with the 1 quarter of 2023, this sum increased by 15.2 percent which is equal to 156 570.7 million soms. 

Change of cash inflows into the cash departments of commercial banks’ institutions is presented in the chart No.1:

In the 1 quarter of 2024, 1 189 789.3 million soms were paid from the cash departments of commercial banks. In comparison with the 1 quarter of 2023, this sum increased by 16.5 percent which is equal to 168 538.2 million soms.

For the 1 quarter of 2024 cash repayment to the cash departments of commercial banks amounted to 99.7 percent. 

(in comparison with the corresponding period of 2023, this index decreased by 1.1 percentage points).
